GHOST OUTDOORS
The founders of Ghost Outdoors, an Australian outdoors gear company, asked me to come up with a fresh layout treatment for their campaign launch. It was a wordless campaign meant to be felt in the art direction alone.
The original treatment I was shown felt very expected and reserved for a brand that was all about freedom and living by your own rules. So I drew inspiration from the quirky logo and blew out the forms into nebulous frames that feel as free spirited as the photography it encompasses.
Ghost Outdoors reported back to me that their wordless, design-only ads were a huge success and the company is thriving.
